Haunted Hayride

Inktober 2016 Day, The Twenty-Third: George's plan was fool-proof: Firstly}Take Maddie on a Haunted Hayride. Secondly} When they scare the daylights out of her, she'll scream and leap into his Arms. Thirdly} She'll be his Girl! Simple enough? Alas, the Werewolf had scarcely begun to bay and the waddling wagon had barely gotten under way when suddenly, "BOO!" A most ghastly creature pounced onto the side of their Cart and it did give Maddie such a start. In a small shrieking hurricane of hay and plaid, Maddie seized George, burying her face and hair into his shoulder with such forceful violence, he let out the loudest scream the Hayride had ever heard. {A detail that Maddie enjoys reminding George to mention every time he tells the story.} And then... he was her Boy!
