"NicNevin, Queen of the Faeries" {made with the Art of Coffee Stains} 3 Sizes
You feel a sense of magical golden mystery as you gaze upon this conversation piece- fterall- she was created in the Art of Coffee-Stains. Be transported to an enchanting forest where this 'Woman Of The Woods' dwells. Ahh but who is she you ask?
Well...
The Witch Queen of Scottish folklore is enshrouded in a myriad of legends and strange goings-on. Some sing of her exploits as a grand Witch who rides the winds of the Sky, commanding Warriors and ghosts alike- others attest she was in fact a real woman in the 16th century and they link her as one of the first Witches of Scotland during those trials- she was dispatched by the magistrate though her legend and strength lived centuries after her.
And still in the lore of the glorious and weird- she is the Scottish Hecate- {mysteriously migrated from the Greek Gods and Goddesses into her own homeland of Scotland. She is Hecate - the oft referred Goddess of Witchcraft, 'The Witch Mother' accompanied by Ghosts and Beautiful Nymphs. Goddee of potions, herbs, and magick. My Scottish roots seemed to call me to her and here is an ode to the Mystery- of this intriguing figure based upon the story I wrote- "The Histories of NicNevin".
