For anyone who ever wondered about the the enchantments that happen only whence they are asleep. Dream Faeries are the wee folk who arrive on a road of silver moon light. The are tasked with weaving dreams by the strands of starlight and to fill the slumber of childhood with the secret language of the heart. Since many of us always retain the child within- the work of these bewitching beings is never done. When you dream tonight- see that your last waking thoughts are of the kind that bring a smile. It may attract the right sprite to weave you a wonderful dream…

This is “Dream Faeries”. A Celebration of the unknown- and more importantly the ‘benevolent unknown’. There is a way that life takes care of you and I. ‘Leap and the net shall appear’ implies that somehow somewhere someone is always meeting you halfway there. Perhaps you have enlisted the help of faeries, angels, elves and not known it? There are good faeries and bad. Though the Faerie code- if there is one- is more about what moves and inspires them in their one immortal life unlike Angels or Devils afterall, the Faerie are not bound by the laws of the hereafter. And so they are drawn to you by the the things to which you are attracted. Keep a faerie in your house to remind you such dreams and benevolence.

EMBELLISHMENT: Your limited piece comes with a golden border hand-drawn onto the print by myself, the artist, as well as a golden signature. It is numbered with your own golden number that says where in this very limited series your piece falls.

ABOUT THE PROJECT “Dream Faeries” was created as a page for the upcoming picture book, “Now The Time” andmade with a mix of pencils and digital art tools. The book is a lullaby written by Matthew Temple who among many things is an experienced a capella singer. Matthew has three kids and though they are all grown up now {if any of us actually do grow up} this lullaby, “Now The Time” is the piece he used to sing to them. Indeed he sent me the lyrics and I saw a bequiling world living in that song
