I have seen her receive the best kind of compliment: That she looks like the old Silent Film Stars.' There is that Silver Screen Sadness paradoxically in her Warm Golden Coffee World.
She was created during this last month of "Februfaerie". There is a sadness in those deep eyes. You can talk to her almost- perhaps I already have. She was one of those rare pieces that seemed to 'Arrive' and there has always been a strange quality to her- attracting compliments and the like.
It is plain to see in my opinion. She warrants it I do declare. It is a special feat here as Coffee is notoriously uncontrollable- thats why I go to the staining rather than painting. And here I thoroughly enjoy the natural way the stains arranged them selves around her… It is as though she were controlling the flow of the coffee.
